Out of Hours
Enhanced Access
Out of hours appointments are available from 6.30pm to 8.00pm every weekday evening and on Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm. An out-of-hours appointment might not be at your regular GP surgery, these will be held within local practices and can be booked by contacting reception. You will be informed of the location when you book the appointment.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself - for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.

When to visit the Minor Injuries Unit:
- Minor head injuries with no loss of consciousness
- Fractures between shoulder to fingers and knee to toes
- Minor burns and scalds
- Foreign bodies in eyes
- Bites and Stings
- Sprains and strains
- Animal and human bites
- Foreign bodies, ear, nose, throat, skin
- Chest injury without difficulty to breathing
- Facial injuries
- Firework injuries
- Mouth injuries
- Neck injuries
- Minor road collisions
- Lacerations
Children under 7 need to go to A&E.
Xray is only open until 4pm. After this time go to A&E.

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or Call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
