Online appointments
We offer online booking for Cervical Screening. If you don’t have Online Access please talk to reception.
Making an appointment
To book an appointment with a clinician please telephone the surgery on 01268 663 140. Phone lines are open from 8 am. Our telephones lines can get very busy especially between 8.00am - 9.00am each morning when patients are trying to get an urgent appointment. If lines are busy you have the option for a “call back” and you will not lose your place in the queue.
Routine pre-bookable appointments with any GP are available to book up to 2 weeks in advance. For continuity of care, the Practice advises patients to consult with their usual GP.
Each appointment is for one patient and one problem. At times of high demand, there may be a wait of one week or more for an appointment for a particular doctor. The doctors will try to see urgent cases on the same day, however this will not be a GP of choice, it will be the DUTY GP.
In order to help with appointments, we have the services of the advanced nurse practitioners and pharmacists who can deal with many issues including prescribing.
For non-urgent matters you can send an online request via PATCHS, find the link on the homepage.
(Urgent appointments are not for Repeat Prescriptions, Fitness for work certificates or for signing forms).
For further information on appointments, self-care and minor ailments take a look at our appointment system. You can also check the signpost section on our homepage.
